Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

This policy explains what personal data MyETIAS processes, why, and what your rights are under the GDPR. PLACEHOLDER — have this policy reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

1. Who we are

MyETIAS is an independent information website about ETIAS. We are the controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact us via the contact page.

2. What data we process

  • Contact form: name, e-mail address, subject and message — used solely to answer your question.
  • Analytics (only with your consent): anonymised usage statistics via Google Analytics.
  • Server logs: IP addresses in technical logs, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

We never ask for, and you should never send us, passport details or other application data.

3. Legal bases

We process contact-form data on the basis of your request (pre-contractual steps / legitimate interest in answering you), analytics on the basis of consent, and security logs on the basis of legitimate interest.

4. Retention

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your question and for a reasonable period afterwards. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' configured retention period. Security logs are rotated automatically.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by our hosting and e-mail providers under data-processing agreements, and by Google (analytics, only with consent).

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact us via the contact page to exercise your rights.
